FRANKLIN, Ky. (WSMV) – A man is facing charges after a fight inside a Burger King in Kentucky just before midnight on Friday, according to the Franklin Police Department.
FPD said officers responded to the Burger King at 4225 Nashville Road for reports of an armed person causing a disturbance and fighting with another man.
When officers arrived, the two men were still actively fighting. FPD said both men were detained as officers investigated.
During the investigation, FPD said officers learned Jason Daughtery, 43, entered the Burger King and got into a verbal altercation with another male patron.

FPD said during the altercation, Daughtery went to his vehicle, retrieved a gun, went back inside the restaurant and brandished the weapon.
The victim was able to fight off and disarm Daughtery, FPD said.
Following the investigation, Daughtery was arrested and charged with menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree terroristic threatening, possession of marijuana, first-degree assault (attempt) and first-degree wanton endangerment.
FPD said no one was severely injured in this incident.
The Kentucky State Police and Simpson County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.
