RAYVILLE, La. — Brookshire Grocery Company announced it will close three store locations across Northeast Louisiana following a review of store performance, market conditions and long-term sustainability.

The affected locations are:

Brookshire’s in Rayville, La.Brookshire’s in Winnfield, La.Spring Market in Grambling, La.

All three locations are expected to remain open through July 24, or until inventory is depleted, as part of a planned wind-down process.

“This was not a decision we made lightly,” said Jerry LeClair, Interim CEO of BGC in a press release. “We are grateful for the communities we have served and appreciate the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of our partners in each of these locations. Although these four stores are closing, we are committed to being strong neighbors.”

The company said all employees have been offered positions at nearby store locations.

They’re encourage customers in affected areas to redeem remaining YourPoints rewards before the stores close.

In Grambling, BGC said it is expanding service to university students by enabling the use of Tiger Cards at its Super 1 Foods store in nearby Ruston.
