Food Bank of Northern Indiana announces September distribution sites

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced its September food distribution events to keep families fed this fall.

Below is a list of distribution sites:

Elkhart County

September 3 – Northside Baptist Church

53198 County Road 9, Elkhart10:30 a.m. – Noon200 households will be served

Starke County

September 9 – Starke County Fairgrounds

400 Division Street, Hamlet9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Central time150 households will be served

St. Joseph County

September 10 – Charles Black Center

3419 West Washington Street, South BendNoon – 1:30 p.m.150 households will be served

LaPorte County

September 16 – LaPorte County Fairgrounds

2581 State Road 2, LaPorte10 a.m. – Noon Central time300 households will be served

Marshall County

September 18 – Plymouth Parks

1660 North Michigan Street, PlymouthNear pool parking lot10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.150 households will be served

Kosciusko County

September 25 – First Baptist Church

206 South Oak Street, Mentone10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.150 households will be fed

All distributions will have pre-boxed or pre-bagged food and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

Distribution sites will be drive-thru only. One box or bag will be given out per household.
