Yum. The Los Angeles Chocolate Salon & Festival returns to the Pasadena Center on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with entry covering all chocolate tastings, demonstrations and chef and author talks.

Organizers bill the one-day show, produced by the International Chocolate Salon, as the 18th annual edition of the original artisan chocolate show in Southern California; advance adult tickets are $22.50, and door tickets are $25 in limited quantity, according to the organizers’ website.

The salon runs in the Pasadena Center’s Conference Building, 300 E. Green St. Children under 6 are admitted free, two per adult, with each additional child under 6 charged $10; admission for children 6 to 12 is $10, the website says. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, and the organizers ask ticket holders to bring their confirmation and a photo ID to will call. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event, according to the organizers’ Eventbrite listing. Tasting wine or spirits, where available, is limited to guests over 21.

Along with the tastings, the day includes demonstrations, chef and author talks and ongoing interviews recorded by TasteTV’s Chocolate Television program, the organizers say. Past participants listed in the organizers’ announcement include Albert’s Petite Sweets, Mission Chocolate, By Three Bears, Gourmet Blends, Grumpy Chocolatier, Goufrais Southern California, Mignon Chocolate, Blue Canary Sweets, PRP Wine International, COBA The Coffee Bar, p.o.p. candy co., Truffles N Toffee, Venecacao Chocolateria, New Orleans Bill, Rayluca Chocolate, Farm Fresh to You and Polar Beverages.

The International Chocolate Salon says it has produced chocolate awards and live tasting events since 2007. The salon was held at the Pasadena Center on Oct. 5, 2025 and Oct. 6, 2024.
