A pizzeria that was founded in Brighton has been included in a list of the 50 best pizzas in Europe.
Fatto a Mano placed 23rd in the 2026 ranking compiled by travel website Enjoy Travel.
The business began in Brighton in 2015 and now has three restaurants in the city: Preston Circus in London Road, North Laine in Gloucester Road and Church Road in Hove.
It has since expanded to several locations in London.

Enjoy Travel said it produced the list after considering customer reviews, speaking to local food enthusiasts and using its own judgement.
Ingredients, technique, atmosphere and reputation were among the factors taken into account.
Describing Fatto a Mano as one of the UK’s best pizza restaurants outside London, the website praised its use of wood-fired ovens, imported Italian ingredients and slowly fermented dough.
It said the pizzeria brought an “idyllic Neapolitan touch” to its food and highlighted the company’s expansion from its original Brighton base to further venues.

Of Fatto a Mano, Enjoy Travel said: “One of the UK’s best pizza spots outside of London is found in Brighton.
“Fatto a Mano doesn’t do things by halves: they use a wood-fired oven, imported Italian ingredients and slow fermented dough for that idyllic Neapolitan touch.
“The end result is not just a stunning pizza, but the fact that Fatto a Mano have managed to expand from their originally humble base in Brighton and open up several more venues along the south coast, showing that people crave real, authentic pizza when done right.”
Fatto a Mano says its dough is made fresh each day using Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast before being left to prove for at least 24 hours.
Its pizzas are then cooked at about 450C for no more than 90 seconds in the Neapolitan style.
The chain celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2025, having opened its first restaurant at Preston Circus in 2015.
