The NYPD is on the hunt for the gunman who shot a teen to death on a Brooklyn street Wednesday night.
Police sources said Jayden Velasquez, of South Street in Brooklyn, was gunned down just before 10 p.m. on Sept. 9 in front of the Gorkhali Nepalese restaurant located at 160 Havemeyer St. in Williamsburg.
Officers from the 90th Precinct rushed to the location after receiving a 911 call about the shooting. When they arrived, they found Velasquez with several gunshot wounds to the face and torso.
EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, but he could not be saved and was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the shooter is described as last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants, and fled eastbound on Havemeyer Street.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
According to NYPD data, the 90th Precinct saw eight people injured in shooting incidents year-to-date through Sept. 5, double the number at the same point in 2025. The number of shootings also rose from four to five in that same period.
