On its website, Que Bueno Mexican Bar and Grill, boasts about its authentic Mexican food, warm hospitality and four great locations. But now, patrons of the popular family restaurant will have one less location to visit.
“We’re sad to share that our Irmo location has permanently closed,” Que Bueno said in a social media post on Oct. 26.
Located at 7320 Broad River Road, the Irmo space opened in 2022 and was the local restaurant chain’s first location.
Like Que Bueno’s other locations, the restaurant served up a wide variety of Mexican dishes, from fajitas to burritos to seafood.
“To everyone who supported us in Irmo, thank you for being part of our Que Bueno family,” the message continued. “We truly appreciate you!”
The South Carolina based, family-owned chain didn’t give a reason for the closure of its Irmo location, but it did share some good news.
“Your favorite Mexican dishes, friendly faces, and Que Bueno experience are still waiting for you,” the restaurant’s farewell to Irmo message read, going on to list the eatery’s three still-extant Midlands locations:
Columbia, located at 1467 Sumter St.
Lexington, located at 407 N Lake Drive
Forest Acres, located at 4420 Devine St.
