A popular Memphis food truck is getting ready to make the leap to brick and mortar and in doing so, ensuring that breakfast is not only the most important meal of the day, but also the most delicious. Top of the Morning is working on its first storefront, bringing its delectable and nourishing fare to the Hickory Ridge Mall.
Top of the Morning recently announced its next chapter via social media post, promising the arrival of “the best breakfast in the South!”. While ownership is ready to hit the ground running, the concept is finalizing the permitting processes necessary for opening.
Locals hungry for Top of the Morning’s fare can rest assured that the concept is making strides towards being customer-ready. The eatery currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for its upcoming 6075 Winchester storefront, which shows that Top of the Morning will be spanning 803 square feet.

Valencia Smith, who co-owns the restaurant with husband Leroy Smith, was kind enough to confirm the new location with What Now Memphis-and to establish that the Top of the Morning team will be using the new storefront as an opportunity to expand upon an already beloved menu.
