Get a deal dining at some of Florida’s top restaurants. Here’s how

Time is running out to take advantage of hundreds of Florida’s top restaurants offering limited-time deals for diners to experience sought-after establishments at a reduced rate.

Options include restaurants with James Beard Award winning chefs, like Uchi in Miami, celebrity chef Richard Blais’ Orlando restaurant Four Flamingos and Naples’ Café Milano, recently recognized by TripAdvisor as one of the county’s top 10 “hidden games.”

There’s also a charity element built into some of the deals:

In Southwest Florida, dining at a participating restaurant will benefit Blessings in a Backpack SWFL, which helps feed elementary school students.

Magical Dining in Orlando benefits OCA, an organization empowering people with autism and other developmental differences.

Proceeds from Miami Spice this year benefit Camillus House, which has been South Florida’s leading system of care, providing housing, meals, healthcare, job training, and pathways to stability.

Here’s how to take advantage of the deals:Miami area: Miami Spice

Numerous restaurants throughout Miami and the surrounding areas offer brunch and lunch for $40 and dinner for $50 or $65. The offers are available through Oct. 31.

Fort Lauderdale: Dine Out Lauderdale

These deals showcase greater Fort Lauderdale’s culinary scene with three-course prix fixe menus at $35 for lunch and $45 or $60 for dinner. There’s an elevated experience offered for $75. Deals run through the end of September.

Palm Beach, Treasure Coast: Flavor South Florida

More than 100 restaurants throughout Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast participate. The restaurants offer specially priced three-course lunch and dinner menus available through Sept. 30. If you miss out on these deals, Taste of West Palm Beach is Oct. 16 and will include food from more than 30 local restaurants. Tickets start at $75.

Orlando area: Magical Dining

A record-number 180-plus Orlando area restaurants are participating this year. Diners are encouraged to use the Magical Dining app to find what restaurants they want to visit. Prices vary by restaurant, but the deal is for a prix-fixe three-course meal available through Sept. 30.

Southwest Florida: Sizzle Dining

Many of the best restaurants throughout Lee and Collier counties are taking part in Sizzle Dining, which runs through the end of September. Reservations are not required but strongly recommend. Breakfast and lunch menus are $19 or $29, while dinner prices are $29, $39, $49 or $59.
