COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29-year-old Travis Henson on Friday morning for allegedly partaking in voyeurism.
Sheriff Leon Lott said deputies were called to a Food Lion on Decker Boulevard. They spoke with a woman who claimed a man placed a foreign substance on her clothing. The woman believed the substance was a bodily fluid.
Deputies found a suspect matching the victim’s description and identified him as Henson. He said he placed the substance on her clothing “as part of a fetish,” according to investigators. Henson denied the substance being a bodily fluid.
A DNA sample was taken from the victim’s clothes.
Henson was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where he awaits bond.
Investigators believe Henson has similar victims. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department asks other victims to report any similar encounters they may have faced with him.
