A well-known Detroit chef is branching out to Macomb County with the opening of Noble Duck Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse later this year at the Mall at Partridge Creek.
Chef Omar Mitchell of Table No. 2 in Greektown will bring Japanese cuisine to the shopping plaza as early as this holiday season. According to a news release issued by Partridge Creek, the new, 4,831-square-foot restaurant will have sushi, live-fire cooking, craft cocktails and more.

People walk through The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township, Mich. on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Noble Duck Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse will be near Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Powerhouse Gym at the east end of the mall. It’s expected to debut before the end of the year.
The new restaurant is part of a few additions coming to the Clinton Township destination. A Cherry Republic store, which sells more than 200 cherry products, is now open next to Pandora inside the mall’s main entrance.

Omar Mitchell, executive chef at Table No. 2, an upscale restaurant in Detroit’s Greektown, carries plates of food to the dining room on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
A See’s Candy shop is also coming to the mall’s main entrance, and clothing store Aeropostale is arriving at the east end near American Eagle. Both of them are expected to open in November.
These four businesses join other locally and nationally owned eateries like HopCat, Andiamo Pasta + Chops, P.F. Chang’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Kiki Kafe and Mr. Miguel’s.
The open-air shopping center, which has heated sidewalks and allows dogs, opened in 2007. It’s at 17420 Hall Road in Clinton Township.
