AtmosphereA chill, easygoing vibe with folks on first dates, cumbia and other Latine tunes piping through the speakers and a neon sign casting a soft red glow throughout the dark room. Service is friendly and deeply knowledgeable about the drinks and bites.

Noise LevelBustling but never too shouty thanks to the high ceilings.

Recommended DishesAn ideal meal consists of the rice cakes, the guacamole topped with norteño-style tripe, and the small dry-aged beef burger. $12 for the rice cakes (currently off menu but returning soon) to $18 for the burger. Cocktails are $17 to $20. Micheladas run $13 to $14.

Drinks and WineThe list leans heavily on creative cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks. Highlights include the Néon del Norte (frozen tequila, passion fruit, pineapple), the Malverde (sotol, Midori, granny smith, cilantro), Totally Wired (a chocolate-y, malty, booze-free carajillo with Guinness syrup), and a faintly sweet mangonada Michelada.
