Hello gorgeous people!

Learn how to make these beautiful and delicious Kourabiethes with me and my granddaughter Stacey! I love her so much and she is a fantastic cook like me.

Kourabiethes are a Greek shortbread biscuit with almonds and topped with icing sugar.

I cant wait to see all your results. Let’s get cooking!

You will need:
-250g Butter (softened)
-Vanilla essence
– 1 tbsp Ouzo

Dry Ingredients:
– 2 cups Plain Flour
– 1 cup cornflour
-2 raised tbsp Icing sugar (and more later to coat the biscuits)
-2 cups slithered almonds (Roast these in a pan before adding)

  3. Aww this was just fantastic. I have looked at dozens of recipes for these and while they were all good in their own way. You 2 beautiful ladies win hands down yay!
    Why? because these biscuits had that most special ingredient of all …LOVE.. anything made with love always tastes better. Also you said the name of them in Greek an that to me is important. Efharisto poli… Keep up the good work yiayia you are bloody awesome!

  10. These are my favorite biscuits!! Thank you for the recipe. Is there an alternative I can use instead ouzo? Also do the almonds have to be raw or roasted?
