I’ve been staring at the bottom half of that pizza for 5 minutes and I have no words.

This is the “Prisencolinensinainciusol” American pizza equivalent

Cut it in half horizontally, flip it together like a sandwich and bite into the bliss of flavours!

As someone who lives in Japan, the term American pizza generally doesn’t refer to the toppings. It is a term used in contrast to “Italian” style pizza. So you can get Korean BBQ topped American pizza even. Sometimes they do it right, sometimes they don’t. TBH, Italian pizza is more my thing these days (but I won’t say no to a New York style slice or even the controversial Chicago Deep Dish).
