I took this from a recipe that had lean ground beef and potatoes with veggies. I swapped it with chicken and black beans. For 1 cup they had 128 cals. Here are the ingredients can someone help me estimate the calories for a cup of this soup with the changes. This is the stored amount. Thanks!

Ingredients for the total pot:

1 pack of just bare chicken tenderloins 110 cals per 4 oz total pack has 4 servings baked and then shredded into the soup

Is there a reason you can’t just put the ingredients into my fitness pal (or similar) to calculate the calories?

  2. I would recommend putting it in a recipe creator in an app like loseit or my fitness pal. I do this with my own recipes, and usually weigh everything in grams. It will calculate the calories and nutrients for you. It can be tedious, but it really is the best way to accurately figure up the calories in recipes either online or your own. 🙂

You’re going to need to know how many cups it made – you can probably use the servings in the recipe to estimate that. Then enter all your ingredients as a recipe into LoseIt or MyFitnessPal and put the number of cups it made as the number of servings. That will tell you how many calories each cup is.
