An Easy and Tasty Snack – Greek Spinach and Feta Pie (Spanakopita). The title explains everything. Actually, I love spanakopita, but I don’t like the ones you buy in the grocery store. They are frozen and simply loose something when cooked. Not to mention that you never know what’s in processed food. So, I decided to make my own spanakopita, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. You can make them quickly and easily and they are so good. If you looking for a snack or crowd pleaser for your guests, this recipe is for you.

Hi Dave , as a Greek let me tell you that your version looks amazing, I love the idea of putting dill , and of course Greek feta is a wonderful cheese and the best cheese ever , THUMBS UP 👍
Yes they are the most delicious ! I would make these with feta and cottage cheese with dill, called tiropita, Love them ! Make them and they will come !
I love the crispy sound ❤️. Thanks for sharing.
Feta cheese is great and those look so good. Cheers, Dave! ✌️🇨🇦
Looks delish!! Dave… Thanks again… I do have to say, this looked easy to make. Something which accentuates the idea of the channel.
Looks yummy.
Dave my friend, 1 of my very fave foods, think the girls will like it, they will eat about any greens, very nice job, I had some Greek friends yrs ago & their father passed away & they moved( I think back to Greece or Macedonia), for folks who have never had this it is great & the fresh spinach does not taste like canned spinach( canned spinach won't work on this recipe anyway folks). Dave, btw I learned a little Greek from my friends, they pronounce it filo dough( feel-low), spell it in English Phyllo dough, keep your stick on the ice pal
Dave, I love your channel. Try putting the spinach in the microwave until the desired softness with no mess next time, in order to keep more of the spinach flavors and add all the nutrients to your pie instead of blanching it in boiling water. I love the idea of using pillow dough aka filo dough which has only 6 grams of fat per 100 grams of pie (as opposed to pie shortening which has around 36 grams of fat for every 100 grams of pie). A blend of both feta and cream cheese might be good too. Just my humble take on your wonderful recipe.😊
Yummy Dave thank you, I also love spinach & feta, so guess I will have to make these 😁😁 love from South Africa 🇿🇦
They are so good and delicious, definitely going to make these thanks Dave ❤ have a wonderful Sunday
Great share as usual. Ty. Sir for sharing.
I have to try this. 😁😻
Well, after overdosing on stuffed cabbage rolls, where else would I be but watching Dave cook 😄😄
Love Spanakopita 👍
I’ve always wanted to try Spanakopita, it always looks so delicious. Thanks for sharing Dave, stay safe out there. 😁
It is always fascinating how many similarities greek and turkish cuisine can have. The dish you showed is similar to a turkisch dish called 'Börek'. It has the same filling but mostly rolled and made with a dough called 'Yufka'
Looks yummy love feta cheese too.
Looks good. Never heard of them but I did have to laugh when you started to roll them into triangles, my older brother use to make paper footballs and he would make us put our fingers up like a goalie. He even kept a score with all pro team names. Drove us crazy.
Good Morning Dave
That looks delicious as always and pretty easy too 👍 Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe 🙂
We have a similar dish in Bosnia it's amazing 😍. I will have to try this version ♥️
Yummy

Love how he gets right after it. Great recipe and to the point
Your version looks great. 👍👍 Being greek I also add green onions and fresh dill instead of dried to the filling which gives it an awesome flavour. Feta is the only cheese that should be used in spanakopita!
