Cool idea
It’s not a bar but Funny BBQ 98 is good for going out with friends
Yemen chuanchuan in Nomad and Kwa Food in Greenwich Village?
Zhong Jie on 23rd has skewers, and it seems like the same style. You can get beer, but it isn’t emphasizing the drink parts.
I know you specifically asked for Chinese, but could a Japanese Yakitori place work?
What about Le Sia?
Not to hijack but if there’s any sit down places in the outer boroughs I’d like to hear them
It’s not a bar but I have to mention it because it’s a really established vendor in Flushing. Lately they are parked across the street from the Paris Baguette that’s closest to the Main Street 7 station. They have lamb, liver, chicken, lamb tendon, these kinds of things, with Chinese bbq spices. Really awesome quality for the price, has been my go to for years. You have to try it if you never have
