I know we talked about using commercial jars as a general no-no but what about these jars that actually say “re-usable” and “home canning” ?

Source/brand name? Is there a site they come from? Wondering if we can look up if the company does testing because a lot of sketchy stuff gets sold over the internet these days. A decent product will have some info out there about them.

I’ve seen some fruit mix jams sold at Costco from a Saskatchewan company being sold in actual wide mouth Bernardin jars with 2 pieces lids. They are 750 ml jars or something. I’ll look it up tonight, I have an unopened jar in the cupboard.

Single piece lids and reusable lids are not officially approved by any testing agency.
Also, single piece lids are not as use friendly as two piece lids for home canning.
