  1. never remove the stem from the indian eggplant like this. It has an INTENSE eggplant flavor, the meat around the stem is the best part. ALWAYS cook with stem on.

  6. Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest of the recipes. I know that Halawet el Jibin is not in this book…we did not want to overwhelm the first book with too many recipes. It is going to be in my second book…with other favorites like shawarma, beef, lamb and chicken, macloubes…riz bi halleb…etc…

I had many Lebanese cuisine books but the step by step explanations and pictures were missing but in your book everything is well explained and illustrated and the measurements are accurate thank you so much for your efforts!! I can feel the hard work behind this book! I love lebanese food and still learning;)
