I got the fried jumbo tenders (second picture) and I wanted to try the “Damn Hot” flavor (second from their hottest) but I was worried it was gonna be too hot where I wasn’t going to enjoy it, so I was able to get two of the tenders hot and then one of them damn hot (you can visibly tell which one was the damn hot one) and I’m really glad I did that because the damn hot might have been a little bit too much on my stomach for later lol but nonetheless it was all very good and crispy and hot. I highly recommend it. I went to the Nashville midtown location

Ate a half chicken of their hottest. Absolutely destroyed me the next day. Between the fat and heat it was a colon wrecker. You made the wise choice, although you still might wind up a mess.
Nice. My sis and fam just moved to nashville. Visited last month for her birthday. We went to Hattie B’s, I got the Shut the Cluck up tenders… pretty hot and tasty. Finished it then immediately ordered a coke float haha. I’ve heard the other place, can’t remember the name is even hotter and better. Brother in law said he’d take me there next time I’m in town.
So what do you think the heat comes from? Just a big load of chili powder, or something fresh pepper-based?
I was not ready for the stomach pain from real Nashville Hot Chicken. Hattie B’s wrecked me.
That said, I’d actually say the Pimento Mac n cheese is the real star of the show. Real damn good. I could slam a pound of that stuff.
Had it several years ago and I want to go back, it was so good!

Sad because Hattie B’s is the tourist trap hot chicken place of Nashville and is one of the worst….Princes is the OG and is amazing, Boltons is a close second OG, and I prefer Party Fowl over Hattie B’a for the east tourist hot chicken. To me it’s more spicy, more flavorful, better menu and better sauces. Party Fowls hot chicken Cobb Salad with poultergiesty heat level and chipotle ranch is to die for.
