My local shawarma restaurant replaced this chili paste with their own inferior chili paste. I had to beg the owner for him to tell me what the original brand was. It is so good on marinated chicken.

Salt and Pepper chicken wings with that stuff is upper echelon tier of deliciousness

  2. Love that stuff, probably through a jar every 2-3 weeks

Used it last night for crispy beef over rice. It’s definitely a pantry staple. I keep it right next to the fried chilli flakes in oil.

Shwarma place, huh? There’s a sauce called toum. It’s garlic suspended in whipped oil and found in most Middle Eastern places by some name or another. There are many forms with a little spice as well. The addition of any good habenero hot sauce into the toum will do things to your face that are still considered immoral in some countries. The heat and garlic make your tastebuds breathe the food in.
