I haven’t canned more than jelly, but green beans are supposed to be pressured canned, yeah? They’re a low acidity food, and as far as I can tell these aren’t pickled.

Also I have no clue what the “not trying to be rude” thing means…

Canning beans the old fashioned way if you are afraid of a pressure canner this is for you.”
The photo is of a metal wash tub on top of two cinder blocks outside. There is a fire below it. The tub is filled with water and green beans in jars. The jars have a seal but no rings. The beans appear to be fresh. End ID]

Yes, assuming that these aren’t pickled, this would be unsafe.

  3. Um, no.

I will do some rustic ass shit, like use a 55gal drum over a camp fire for the boiling water plunge to pluck a turkey. A 45 pound turkey. But I would never do this.

Horribly unsafe canning method aside (and I hope to heck they are joking), that looks like a brand new number 6 wash tub.

If that is a number 6 and not a 5, I want to know where the heck they found it lol.

Now as to that canning method, nope. Not even if they are pickled not under any circumstances.

Edit typo, should’ve said “that” not “the”.

I can’t tell if those are single use lids or rusty two-piece rings. Woof.
