
I canned this applesauce from the ball recipe book about a month ago. I used the recipe exactly with an electric canner, including 1/2 inch of headspace. When I pulled out the jars from the pantry today, they all look similar to this, with small air bubbles and no headspace at top. The lid is still sealed. Is this normal? Was my first time doing applesauce.

That’s how mine always looks, I wouldn’t worry about it unless you see the bubbles actively bubbling.
That is normal for applesauce.
yes unless the seal is broken or something is leaking.
