I’m sure that’s not the correct terminology, but I have a jar that seems to have nicked something on the bits that hold the ring on. The rim itself is free from any damage. It’s just the “ring screw.” I’m just making sure it is still safe to use. I don’t see why not, especially since that ring will be removed in storage, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks!
