I know there has been posts about this before but no way in hell are these noodles 10 000 SHU.
I read somewhere you were meant to add some water to the noodles, I didn’t and it’s been 20 minutes since I finished eating them and I’m still feeling fuzzy from how strong they were, no way these are rates at 10 000 scoville units.

I know, they taste at LEAST 10x hotter than they claim! I’m getting used to the 3x spicy ones slowly.

eating them when they are still hot (temperature) can affect your perception of it

That’s because the sauce is 260,000 SHU. We’ve had some test capsaicin levels here before

To just eat them like that without mixing in good stuff is really a waste, unless it os meant as some kind of meaningless Challenge.
Mix in some meat and ramen greens and make a proper bowl. Then you get a real and tasty meal out of it and the heat becomes regulated, meaning that one can also add extra heat if so inclined.

I think this may be a good example of how the Scoville is not really a good way of measuring how spicy something seems when you eat it. At the very least there are other variables at play.

They make a ramen version and a fried noodle version..but it seems to me you can just make either packs either way you’d like..I never noticed a difference

10,000? That’s nothing.

Had the 1x yesterday and was spicier than two weeks ago when I had the 1x. Was weird. Flew through a couple beers keeping the heat down.
