Pastitsada is by far one of the best dishes we have tried in Greece, to be specific, on Corfu Island. This time we’ve made it on our own, and result is pretty close to original. The key to every Greek dish is of course right combination of spices. Since we are doing this for the first time, we decided to do it the easier way: by using Mix for Pastitsada we’ve bought in Greece 🙂
Ingredients:
Beef
Red Onion
Tomato Sauce
Red Wine
Sugar
Mix for Pastitsada:
– Onion
– Garlic
– Laurel
– Cinnamon
– Cloves
– Sweet Paprika
– Black Pepper
– Salt
– Sugar
Salt
Pepper
Hard Cheese (Kefalotyri or Parmesan )
Olive Oil
Pasta
