FIRE ROASTED RED BELL PEPPER HUMMUS

Ingredients:
28 oz Can of Chickpeas
1 tbsp Baking Powder
I’ve Bath (helps remove skin)
1/2 cup Ice
1 Large Red Bell Pepper
1/3 Cup Tahini
1 Whole Lemon Squeezed
1 clove of garlic
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Kosher Salt
Paprika to garnish

Add Baking powder to a pot of water and bring to a boil
Place Red Bell Pepper to cook over hot coals or in gas grill until charred
Add Chickpeas to Boiling water and boil for 10 mins
Strain Chickpeas and add to Ice Bath to remove skin that floats to the top
Remove as much skin from chickpeas (creates a creamier and smoother hummus)
Add Ice to Food Processor (helps to mix all ingredients easier)
Add Chickpeas and pulse blend a few time to break up the chickpeas
Peel off charred skin from Red pepper and remove seeds and slice up
Add pieces of Pepper into the processor with Chickpeas
Add Tahini, Lemon, Salt
Start processor and as it chops to create a dip consistency add olive oil at the same time

Pour into a bowl, add chopped Sweet Bell Pepper with olive oil and paprika
