Which Toronto stores sell these Nara strawberries, imported from Japan? My realtor bought them in Toronto, but forgot where.

Looks like the strawberries from Loblaws when they go on sale for cheap
Shutterbug245
Omg, can’t imagine how expensive they’ll be. Saw a similar tray at Tsukiji market for $30!!
goblin_welder
I assume J-town?
darkallen
maybe check out Asia Foodmart in Scarborough? I passed by there last time and they had super expensive korean grapes. Maybe they might have strawberries?

I walked past a Japanese grocery along Spadina that specialises in super expensive products. Yuzuki?
ryeng_stark
Probably JTown in Markham. If you’re looking DT maybe Yuzuki Fish Market, they typically have melons and such when in season, they might have Nara strawberries too

Second hand strawberries?
Blindemboss
They don’t look very ripe and hence very sweet. Do they taste different?

I’d say likely from Hesei in J-Town, except that I did not see any there when I went last weekend. Maybe they had them starting this weekend, though. Otherwise, the place on Spadina people have mentioned (Yuzuki?) is about the only other place I’d expect would carry something like that.
NervousAndPantless
Are these more expensive than red strawberries?
Relevant-Run1635
I’ve seen them in TNT
averysleepygirl
most likely from JTown!
darlingmagpie
Yuzuki Fish Mart has fruit for sale but I think it’s seasonal so I’m not sure if they still have strawberries. It looks like they might have insanely expensive muscat grapes right now though! https://www.yuzukifishmarket.ca/online-ordering
illusive22
JTown maybe?
ghostylox
Look fake
Terrible_Market9792
T&T Mississauga has them
meownelle
Wow that’s wasteful.

How does someone, a realtor of all people, simply forget where they purchased strawberries in the last short while?
Something off about that
anonymous112201
Costco used to sell these but they were called pink/white berries. Looks the same. Japanese fruits are notoriously expensive for no reason anyway.

They look terrible.
Man your realtor has a horrible memory… the strawberries are still fresh and they can’t remember where they went shopping?
T&T
They import expensive fruits from Japan all the time
The Adonis superstore in mississauga has them sometimes. Not always, but early spring i think?
T&T has them occasionally around the holidays. If you can find in a non Loblaws asian grocery then I’d go with that
I just took 5% off the biggest purchase you’ll ever make, for doing some paperwork and looking pretty.
Here’s some expired strawberries from Loblaws. Cheers 🥂
Do they cost as much as the commission he’s going to get?
You could try Sanko at Queen and Claremont.
God these negative comments about the strawberries are ignorant. You’re supposed to be foodies and you’re commenting like redneck trailer trash.
