I am looking for as adventurous of an experience I can get in New York for my birthday! By adventurous, I am looking for far out there ideas, crazy parts of animals, amazing authentic ethnic food, etc – there is nothing I wouldn’t eat!
For reference, the below three spots I have previously been and fit the profile
* [Noreetuh](https://www.noreetuh.com/)\- Hawaiian char siu glazed wagyu beef tongue – 10./10 highly recommend
* [Hanoi House](https://www.hanoihousenyc.com/) \- Vietnamese bone Marrow pho & pig ear salad
* [Hav & Mar](https://www.havandmar.com/) \- Swedish & Ethiopian seafood – not as adventurous but amazingly innovative mash-up of cultures
Any and all ideas welcome, thank you!

Yakitori Kono! Truly a unique experience. And you can eat all the crazy parts of a chicken your heart desires. Only downside is it’s probably better for a smaller party – you’re sitting around a U shaped bar so less conducive to large group convo.
Honey badger might fit the bill. It’s all foraged and local foods [here](https://honeybadgerbk.com/)
bone marrow / pig ear / beef tongue are considered adventurous?
give Foxface a try
chongqing lao zao in flushing serves lamb balls; they’re too gamey for my liking but you should give them a try.
not sure these are the “most adventurous” when it’s just… typical asian food lol
[Gogi 37](https://maps.google.com?q=GOGI%2037,%20252%20W%2037th%20St,%20New%20York,%20NY%2010018&ftid=0x89c259ac56f0f061:0x91fcdc10ca0495be&hl=en&gl=us&entry=gps&lucs=,47071704) is a fun spot.
Wasn’t there a restaurant in Manhattan that focused on really charred, burned food? I remember it getting good reviews even though one review noted that research had just shown that charred foods are pretty carcinogenic.
Anywhere with a C rating. The “adventure” is seeing who gets sick a few hours later.
Superiority Burger! Eat everything on the menu and you will have an amazing taste adventure.

Henry’s End in Brooklyn Heights – annual Wild Game Festival menu, happening now (happens every Fall). Dishes made with turtle, antelope, elk, etc.
Pig ear salad at Hanoi House is so bomb.
