Need to meal prep, my mum gave me a bunch of these microwave rice packs but tastes bland (ik it’s plain rice). Any way I could season these before they get put in the microwave? Or should I just season when they are done?

I use nandos sachets on the chicken and peppers instead of seasoning the rice, that works

Season after, use Futikaki seasoning.

Can’t go wrong with a little soy sauce, if your into that

I would season after they are cooked. You can do whatever flavors you like since rice has a neutral flavor. Some ideas:
– Rice + tomato sauce + grated parmesan cheese + garlic powder + onion powder + Italian seasoning + cayenne pepper + butter + salt to taste
– Rice + pesto sauce + grated parmesan cheese + salt to taste
– Rice + extra virgin olive oil + red wine vinegar (or any vinegar that you like) + garlic powder + onion powder + cayenne pepper + everyday seasoning blend (optional) + salt to taste
– Rice + butter + cheese of your choice + salt to taste
– Rice + BBQ sauce or sweet and sour sauce or teriyaki sauce + leftover cooked chicken pieces
Tip: if the rice becomes cold by the time you are done seasoning it, reheat it a little bit in the microwave using half power to help prevent it from drying up.
