Learn how to make this tasty, quick and easy recipe for yogurt and cucumber salad. It is a very delicious and refreshing, especially great for a hot summer’s day or as a side dish or a as a dip for grilled meats, like tandoori chicken skewers.
This dish is called khyer bi labin (cucumbers in yoghurt) in Lebanon and a version of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dish, close to the Greek Tzatziki, but personally I like it much better. Traditionally serves as part of a mezze or antipasti offering, with crispy toasted pita bread, tortilla chips, chopped carrots and celery, or on a piece of toasted bread. It is a quick and healthy snack that I make often when I am pressed for time and want to make something that is healthy and nutritious. It is always a homemade favorite dish in my kitchen.

Ingredients:
1 cup of natural yoghurt
1/3 cup chopped continental cucumber
1 sprig of fresh mint leaves
1 glove of garlic
Table salt to taste
*squeeze of lemon juice
*dash of olive oil

*Optional ingredient not added in the video.
