This Strawberry Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie uses fresh strawberries, frozen bananas, natural peanut butter, oat milk, vanilla, and chia seeds. It’s super flavorful and filling!

I’m not a fan of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but this smoothie right here is one of my favorites! Maybe the pb and j sandwich is a texture thing for me, I also don’t like the texture of jello so there’s that.. ha! Chris said it tastes like peanut butter and jelly, but obviously in smoothie form.

Recipe tips and variations:
You can use a mixture of fresh and frozen fruit for this recipe. If you don’t have frozen fruit you can use some ice.
We highly recommend using real vanilla extract.
We also highly recommend skipping the sugar ladened peanut butter and going for natural peanut butter or even homemade peanut butter.
Add in your favorite neutral veggies like frozen cauliflower, frozen zucchini, or fresh spinach.
To make a thicker smoothie use less oat milk, to make it thinner add more to reach desired consistency.

I was very pregnant in this video, aww. I still can’t believe that we had our baby boy at only 30 weeks and 5 days. Placenta previa definitely scared me when we got the diagnosis, but I’m SO glad I really read up on it and was completely prepared (and still terrified) for our emergency c-section. He is absolutely thriving now! 😊

  1. I like to add peanuts, cashews, almonds, or pistachios instead of the nut butter. The blender, in essence, makes the nuts into nut butter without the stickiness that you experienced.
