Hi,
I really enjoy visiting producers. There is just something cool about being in the place where it all goes down, so I made a map for it. I’m pretty sure it is up to date, but please let me know if I missed something.
And for you people who like to reminisce I included a layer of places that have sadly come and gone (in the past 15 years) that you can toggle on or off.
Best viewed on a desktop. Cheers!

Thanks for this!
Amazing, thank you!
New York Distilling on Richardson is closed.
You could add Brooklyn Winery.
Edit: ~~And Grimm~~
Some of my current favorite:
Cira Brewing by DeKalb. Really great vibes and location. They claim to brew everything on location.
That Witch Ales You is a nano brewery that’s a bit out of place at Two Bridges. I love their drinking area in the backyard. Very cozy and reminds me of visiting a friend’s house. They’re only open limited hours on weekends.
Industry City’s “alcohol alley” as a whole is great. Some highlights:
Fort Hamilton Distilleries offers $30 tours and whiskey tasting. IMO the tour is worth it. The tour guide knew his stuff and the history of the neighborhood was cool.
Brooklyn Kura in Industry City recently moved into a bigger space! I haven’t been to the new space yet though.
Although I love Brooklyn Kura, I always felt like I was better off buying a whole bottle for $45 rather than pay $15 for a glass lol. [They claim that they will have more limited flavors and cocktails in the new taproom](https://www.timeout.com/newyork/news/a-beautiful-sake-school-just-opened-in-brooklyn-110223) so we’ll see. The one thing that was unique to the tap room is the Shiboritate. From what I understand, it’s sake that’s midway through it’s fermenting process so it’s very cloudy and kind of a bit pulpy. Worth trying as you can’t really get that anywhere else.
Big Alice Barrel taproom also has some really good ass beers. My favorite in IC.
great list…….
Great jones distilling is basically a tourist trap imho just came here to say this.
Great Jones has an awesome distillery tour and cocktail class – highly recommend it!
King’s County Distillery not on the list? Did they stop doing tours? My wife signed us up, and I though it’d be a huge tourist trap, but I actually ended up loving their stuff – though it’s definitely priced at a premium due to their locale.
Cant seem to find City Winery?
Fantastic! Thanks!
