  1. i love your mum dancing electric thingy, like i need this in my life, it would make my day everyday

  2. I like the casual approach to his video-recipes. However, it's never a good idea to crack a raw egg directly into a partially prepared dish. Always crack a raw egg into a cup or small bowl. If it's a bad egg, no problem, just toss it out and get another egg. Can't do that if you do it directly into the mixure.

  3. A lot of sarcasm went into making this video, from Chef John. You can tell when he's doing close-ups on something totally experimental, gushed open, with jumbo shells that just isn't there anymore, LOL.

  4. saying "im not gay" means you thought about it which makes you kind of gay
also who cares if youre gay or not? being gay isnt bad

  5. This was an awesome idea 🙂 (although in my house there wouldn't be "leftover" dip to be using) It kinda puts me in mind of Bertolli's Oven Bake meal "stuffed shells in scampi sauce", though I don't think they make it any more. That was the only time I've ever had stuffed shells with anything other than traditional ricotta stuffing and tomato sauce. I used to add additional shrimp to the dish and it was always quite tasty.

  6. My hubby likes to say that cooking off the top of your head is the ultimate test of a cook's skill. If you can pull together something from leftovers or other ingredients in your fridge and pantry and have it come out tasty as opposed to just edible, you're a good cook

  7. I've always said that chefs create and cooks re-create (from recipes).  That's what I like about Chef John – he is always encouraging us to empower our inner chefs!  Well done, Chef.

  8. it does matter I hate leftovers, my sister loves them so I often wondered why would I came over her house she would give me the leftovers well I got really hip to that quickly and me and my nephew I would make sure that we had all the fresh ingredients and pigged out when she wasn't home it was wonderful. the only thing about this recipe doesn't the artichoke and spinach dip have cream cheese in it and then you add ricotta and stuff it and shells with Bechamel aaahhh
    I have to pass.
don't get me wrong I eat leftovers cuz I don't believe in wasting food but I usually eat up when I have or make enough so I don't have to eat leftovers if it's really good they're great if you need something this mediocre who wants to leftovers trash it or give it to the little dog! I'd like to see a good stuffed shell recipe other than the classic ricotta with marinara sauce the usual I'd like to have something exceptional any ideas I know you have some. if you come up with something extraordinary please let me know all weekend being it was a playoff in the championship game everything I looked at had mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce for you to dip it in just turn me off so if you do find a good stuffed shell recipe that's a little unique I'd love to try it.👌🌈😎

  9. Chef John, it is now January 2019 and you better have bought your mom a new stove or I don’t think we can be friends anymore. BTW, I don’t know how you sneaked into my kitchen and filmed my leftover dip recipe, but stop it. It’s creeping me out.

  10. I love you, Chef! Repurposing leftovers is one of my specialties! I bet this would be awesome in mushrooms, too. A little buttered breadcrumbs on top?

  11. I wanted a son like you. Instead what did I get? An airline pilot and an engineer. Go figure. I gotta eat you know?
