I spent the last year growing vegetables. Here is a video about the whole process from beginning to end.

  1. Hey! For those of you who watch this channel regularly you may have seen these videos before. It's a combination of all my gardening videos this year, like my beekeeping videos I wanted to upload it all in one video for those people who haven't seen them before. Enjoy binge watching garden videos! 🙂

  2. I had to laugh when I saw you put seven tomatoes, especially cherry, tomatoes, in less space than I would put two
Seriously, I have had my tomato spread 15+ foot and grow as much as 10 to 12 foot high in one season
And we’re not talking I started out with a great big tomato, but rather a five week old plant. Rather small.
Enjoyed the watch. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This was brilliant! I was hooked for every moment. Your parents' home and garden are just gorgeous! I would love a place like that, but I live in Utah in America and Utah is…well, it's a desert, haha.

  4. Nasturtium flowers have a peppery flavor.
Most fruit trees are second year fruiters. Figs are great. I grow up in Texas with a fig tree outside my grandmothers kitchen window. It was about 20 years old and I'd gorge my 5 year old self on them every summer.

  5. This garden was beautiful! Thank you for this long sass video, I watched it all! Made me impatient for the spring when I can start sowing seeds again!

  6. Your parents hopefully soon will let you use the whole loan where you'll turn into a wonderful food forest 🙂

  7. I do enjoy watching your YouTube channel, I saw only this long one on your gardening adventure, it is great watching and learning with you all the pros and cons that you dealt with throughout the growing season, thanks for sharing it all with us, much appreciated and I wish you well for the next growing season in Bristol.

  8. Hey hello cut the spring onions and let them spring back you will always have cut close to the soil

  9. You should eggs shells to stop snails eating your plants, it works really good. Just roughly crush the egg shells and sprinkle them around your plants and around the garden id you have enough. Egg shells don't just stop Snails but also gives the plants good nutrients

  10. Excellent approach! The walkthrough is an amazing breakthrough to cover all aspects! Better to see "this is what I did and how it worked", rather than to see "do this, do this, do this"!

  11. Hi Alex glad to have found you. I have half of my mums garden and my Housegroup At Church bought me a greenhouse. It’s November now and I’m just about to start my
    Peppers and tomatoes
On my window sill. I had my tomatoes in fruit in February March last year!! Will keep an eye out for you in the coming months cheers (I’m in Edinburgh so a bit cooler
    Than you.) jennifer

  12. You may be giving me the confidence zone need to start growing my own edibles! I’ve been acquiring knowledge from Charles Dowding/Jess (Roots&Refuge)/Tanya Anderson (Lovely Greens)Katrina (homegrown.garden)/Huw Richards/Liz Zorab (Byther Farm)/Ben (GrowVeg – more recent for me but excellent, full of interest/info & enthusiasm) ❤

  13. Daisy probably ate your strawberries. Lol!
Well done Alex's dad for looking after the food crops while he was away.
Enjoy the learning journey not just the destination of the harvest. Good luck with your project, self-sufficient, Alex. Thanks for sharing your data.
