Harvested about 50 ghost peppers this season and I’m trying to figure out what to do with them all. Fresh sliced on a burger is good. Today I decided to make ghost pepper infused vodka. I put 5 peppers into this batch. Will see how it is in a few days.

I think I’ll dehydrate some and make a powder. Might try to smoke some too. I’d also like to make a hot sauce. Anyone have a recipe?

Try Serrano infused blanco tequila. You’ll thank me later!

A Bloody Mary would be the obvious move.

Maybe a spicy dirty martini but that sounds kinda blech to me

I made habanero tequila when I was young but just a shot of it, I did it as more of an extract than a drink though. The thing with it was all the burn goes directly into your throat

  4. Sounds good. Maybe a spicy pickle to go with the vodka. Easy brine is half water half vinegar and some kosher salt throw whatever fresh veggies are in your fridge then add some of those habanero. Yum!

It will take a couple weeks for the flavor to really develop. 👍🏼

Years ago I infused some olive oil with habaneros. Was great, added just the perfect amount of flavor and heat.

I made reaper infused vodka once. It didn’t burn my mouth as much as my throat. Used for bloody marys, vcr, lemonades and other drinks i wanted to spice up. Shots were what really got my throat.

  8. 1 ghost pepper + 2 cloves of garlic per bottle makes a banging Bloody Mary vodka.
