**I really liked the Cranberry sauce with maple syrup & toasted walnuts🙏🏼
Nearly the same recipe as min exept I put a few cloves in for that christmasy taste. Pekan nuts also go well in there for a more crunchy an meaty jam.
Sounds absolutely amazing ‼️Thank you……
was expecting "you are the boss" to end with "of your sauce"
Welp, Chef John, it's that time of year again! This recipe has become a family favorite, and is now solidly ensconced on the Tradition Thanksgiving Menu for our house. 😉
I’m weird. I prefer that creepy jelly out of a can than fresh cranberry sauce 😬
But I’ll make this for my guests. Can I use fresh ginger or ginger powder? I don’t have candied ginger.
Thank you Chef John, I made this last year and people loved it. And this year I'm making two batches!
I made this last year it was a hit, even the kids liked it. This year I made it with apple because I forgot the pear and it was still very good! A keeper 😁
You are the boss of your Bosc pear, missed opportunity 😂
So funny….didn’t realize this video was so old. When he said ‘you are the boss’ , I expected the next line to be… ‘of your cranberry sauce’. I guess this was before his rhyming days.
Looks so good
Can I use cane sugar instead of granulated sugar?
This has been my go-to recipe for years! I made it the first time because my brother in law hates Chef John. He had no idea this was his recipe. Now that he knows, he still requests it each year. Thank you CJ for giving the best recipes.
BACK AGAIN, for the 4th year running! Woot! This is for Xmas dinner, I'm here early to see what I need to get on the shopping list!
And after the holidays, add a jalapeño pepper —1 or 2 or just 1/2 depending on how hot you want it….and how much you have left ..but without the seeds ….and make it a dip with tortilla chips! YUM!
Do you have a video on roasted goose?
