One of my favorite pies, I love Strawberry Rhubarb Pie! This is a classic pie that is absolutely delicious. You must make this!
Ingredients:
3 cups rhubarb
2 cups strawberries
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup tapicoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg for washing the top of the crust
sugar for dusting the top crust
Be sure to allow your mixture to macerate at least 15 minutes before adding to your pie shell.
Bake 425F for 10 minutes and then turn down heat to 350F and bake 40 minutes longer.

um, well, i cant really think of too much it doesnt taste good with, its the normal side with potato wedges with sour cream here, i also love it with marinated chicken wings, but i use it with most meats, and its great in marinades too, hope this helps michael!
lol it gets in the minus 4'c at the coldest week here, and almost 50'c here in the hottest week of summer, so we kinda get extremes :p

this is my favourite pie so yum used to eat it all the time when i was a kids cos my parents had rhubarbs in the garden now I dont see it often in the vegie store 🙁 🙁
when i put tapioca in my pie you could feel the texture of it when it came out,but i've had other pie with tapioca and theirs turned out great.
have u tried using a tiny bit of powdered charcoal or some flour to wash ur veggies. very effective as well.

I like a lot of different kinds of pies, but I love strawberry rhubarb! It's the perfect blend of sweet and tart that makes it special. This really looks easy to make. I'll have to give it a try.
