  1. Ramen season continues checking out this spot based on a recommendation in the recent favorite ramen thread here. Pretty good bowl overall and the broth was especially tasty but I think I prefer a thicker noodle and the toppings and egg were a little underwhelming compared to my current favorites. Honestly we are so spoiled for good options in this city and this would probably be a top tier bowl in many places but it doesn’t dethrone any of my favorites, at least not from one visit. That said I’m glad to have a good new option to add to the rotation and will definitely be back this season to try another bowl on the menu.

I like it there. It might not win best ramen in the city but it’s decent and their frozen ramen is a great freezer staple for winter. The broth on the bottom melts and you get a decent bowl at home that only needs heating. Check it out.

  3. I think Tondou is the only place in the GTA offering Okinawa Soba. I remember being surprised when I looked at the menu, so I ordered it when I visited. Still have yet to try the other ramen.

As great as any of the Ramen look in Toronto the big thing that always lets every single bowl down are the low quality of Eggs we have in Canada. They seriously don’t taste half as good as even convenience store eggs in Japan.
