My boyfriend bought blackberry puree for making a flavored mead but the project fizzled out. It was rather expensive so I was hoping to salvage it, possibly by making jam with it?

Any thoughts on using this puree in place of crushed berries? I planned to use the Certo brand recipe since I prefer liquid pectin.
