These are donuts ftom Moe’s Doughs in Williamsburg. I heard they were good, but did not expect the **behemoth** before me. So delicious and wonderful and still warm from the fryer.
I also got glazed donuts that were deliciously pillowy, with the right amount of vanilla flavor. The box is baker’s choice, so I’ll enjoy exploring whatever flavors are in there as well.
But seriously, that apple fritter is HUGE and I love it and will name it Betty and love her forever.

Part of me wants you to delete this so no one else knows about these, and I’ll keep getting them fresh and hot every morning with no fear they’ll sell out.
It’s $3.75 of pure joy.
Also, while waiting in line at Moe’s a few Sundays ago, I overheard two passers-by ask each other what Moe’s was. One said “looks like a second-rate Peter Pan” and I immediately chirped up “Actually, Peter Pan is a second-rate Moe’s” and I stand by that.

My favorite donuts in the entire city. Try their pistachio, maple, even citrus flavors, they’re all amazing. The danishes too!

As a long time Peter Pan devotee and admirer, Moe’s will regretfully always remain Donut Non Grata.
The story goes Moe was a longtime baker for Peter Pan then stole the recipes and opened up shop 3 blocks away. NYTimes article from a decade ago [linked below] seems to corroborate that version.
Just had a Peter Pan feast a week or two back and my love grew even deeper — good looking claw nonetheless though my friend! Next time you’re in the hood brave the line for Peter Pan’s BEC on everything bagel and eat a sour cream glazed while you wait.
