    I know it’s a bit gimmicky but if you cover you beef in flower I makes them brown easier when you fry them at the start, it also builds a fond that you can déglaze once you’ve fried everything off, and also thickens the stew. Looks nice though, crazy what a few hours on a low temp will do to some ingredients in a pot!

    This looks phenomenal. I must leave for my run immediately before I’m tempted to scarf whatever the closest equivalent I have in my home is, which is probably frozen Bolognese and a piece of bread.
