    It’s chilly and nothing warms up like a pot roast! The house smelled fantastic all day.

    Served with horseradish mashed potatoes and green peas. Leftovers for sandwiches today- Swiss and horseradish on a kings Hawaiian roll.

    **Ingredients:**
    3 lb chuck roast, 1 pkg ranch dressing mix, 1 pkg au jus mix, 1/4 cup butter (half stick), 8 pepperoncini, 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice.

    **Directions:**
    1. Place chuck in crock pot. Cover with ranch and au jus mix.
    2. Add half stick of butter in 8 pats.
    3. Add 8-10 pepperoncini (I removed the stems). Add 1/4 cup juice from pepperoncini jar.
    4. Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
    5. Shred with fork, serve with potatoes or on roll

    Made this first time a few weeks ago, same basic recipe. I thought Mississippi pot roast where have you been all my life? Will do again.
