Down the street is this huge pear tree so we asked if we can pick some and the neighbors were like “DEAR LORD YES PLEASE” so we gathered roughly a bushel.
I followed the NCHFP recipe and canned them in Apple juice. We have plenty more to turn into other things like jelly or sauce or honey.
