  5. Just what I was looking for! Worked out well with my ground venison. Added a few other ingredients, too!

  6. I will try this recipe I don't like taco seasoning heavy on chili powder.

  7. There's nothing wrong with MSG. It's just sodium with the addition of glutamate. It's naturally found in tomatoes, among other foods. It was largely demonized due to racism and huckstering physicians.

  8. msg is perfectly healthy its similar to salt, it became a health scare because of racism, and as a way to demonise chinese imigrants foods.

if you see this I am not criticisizing you but inviting you do more research into msg before you demonize it on your platform

  9. I have been using this recipe since around COVID times. I’m revisiting this vid to make the seasoning again. We’re making nachos tonight

  10. If you have cheddar cheese & tomatoes on on your tacos, the new for you is msg is a natural salt occurence in both those & many foods!
And it’s healthier than regular salt!!!

  11. We have been using this taco seasoning on our meal prep for work for over 2 years now everyone always mentions how amazing the smell and taste is! Thank you…

  12. Low-key hilarious video. She's complaining about MSG and artificial flavors in the pre-made mix while pointing at a label clearly stating there is no MSG or artificial flavors 😂

  13. I just love the lovely peoples that leave the ingredient list ,down below ,for busy ,easily irritated people like me. Thanks .!! 👍🏼

  14. This is by far the best one out there. I used this to make chicken taco soup. Best because I can control the salt.

  15. Instead of using cayenne pepper in the seasoning mix, i like to cook fresh serrano peppers right into the meat for a little spice kick. 1 serrano per pound of ground beef. 2 per pound if mixing the meat in chili or something about equal preportion to the meat. Or 1 habanero per 2 pounds of meat. If you cook it in starting with the raw meat, some of the HEAT pours off with the grease, so you won't burn your little tongue. Or if you're slow cooking in beef tips or something, cut the pepper ratio in half about. I just LOVE My hot peppers! 🙂

  16. This was great I did only use 1 tbs of cumin still turned our great but how do I make it a bit thicker like the way the seasoned pkts come out?

  17. McCormicks original taco seasoning mix literally has non of the things you mentioned in it. Just spices.

  18. This seasoning is not it. It’s not flavourful at all but if u add more than what recommended the taco meat becomes very grainy

  19. Snapping the fingers, using the term “hubby”? Come on. You’re better than that. Seemed like I was watching a Saturday morning children’s show from 1975.
