I bought two sleeves of these blue bottle pods and my machine hates them. I noticed yesterday so I went ahead and brewed regular coffee, some double espresso and one single espresso – all without error. In the two mugs are a blue bottle and a holiday brew – way different in pours. Each time I did a blue bottle coffee (5) it was overflowing way passed the 5oz brew and coffee was all separated in color.
Can I take them back? Is there a hard reset I can do on my machine? Something is amiss. Thanks!

Complain to customer service on social media, ask for a refund as they’re not producing coffee like they should yet your machine pours other pods fine. They won’t accept a return but they can add credit to your Nespresso account as a refund.
Does the blue bottle one list that it only works on next generation vertuo? Could also just be a bad print bar code.
If I’m understanding the issue correctly, I think it could potentially be an easy fix:
The Vertuo Plus allows you to customize the amount of water distributed for each type of pod. So if you turn it on, wait 30 seconds for it to warm up, add a pod, and then hold down the “start” button and don’t let go – it will start filling up your cup. When you want it to stop, let go. Next time it’ll remember that water volume for that type of pod.
The one I had in the Nespresso store last week was amazing, but it was a small amount. Does your machine allow for adjusting the amount of water going into each cup
