Hey y’all!! Sorry this is a stupid question. I always plan and log all my food in the morning, the thing that helps me keep on track is hitting my protein goal with 1000 cals & having 500 for “fun food” / snacks 😀
…How tf would I weigh this as prepared? driving me nuts that it doesn’t give a prepared serving in grams. I want to make the whole box & split it into portions to eat today & tomorrow. Help???

I’d just calculate total calories for the entire box and divide by number of portions. If you’re going to eat it all over the next couple of days, you’ll be eating all of those calories eventually anyway, so even if one portion is a bit more and another is a bit less, it’ll all balanced out in the end.
As prepared refers to the instructions on the box, how much butter and milk is recommended to add. So the easiest thing to do is to prepare it (how you want; it doesn’t have to be exactly as directed and it’ll be roughly the same amount of calories) and then weigh it into two servings.
In your tracker, add it as 1.25 servings prepared. If you don’t have that option (like it only has the dry amount listed), then rig the serving until you get ~300 calories (which would be the calories for 1.25 prepared servings).
Or just eat the whole box for about 600 calories 🤷🏻♀️
The entire box contains 2.5 servings. The entire box would be 240×2.5 = 600 calories. What I usually do is count the calories and guess the servings. Roughly divide the entire box in 2 or however many you want as well as the calories. It doesn’t matter whether you tre 400+200 or perfectly split it in 300+300 calories. In the end your total calories of that week won’t change.
