It can be pretty hard to find Italian subdo’s out here. The sammee culture just ain’t a thing in Oregon. Unless you count a burrito as a Sammidge, which…your mileage may vary, no need to wade into that argument here. These sandy mongers are from Wisconsin, so the addition of cheddar is a little unconventional for a classic ‘talyan samiwich but understandable and delicious!

    I’ve had a couple excellent eyetalian sandwiches in Portland. If you end up up there at some point try Scrappy’s, Lottie and Zula’s, and Papi Sal’s. They all had quirks, but they were welcome.
