Our good friend Birkan opened the authentic Turkish restaurant called Joker Restaurant here in our little town of Jiangsu Yancheng.
Today he let us try out some of the famous street food from his home country.
It is basically mussels in the shell stuffed with spiced rice and doused with fresh lemon juice. We were thrilled with the resulting flavor vortex!
