Just wanted to throw this out there … tonite as I was making a ritz cracker crusted chicken breast ( I made a happy mistake ) I was seasoning my yardbird and spilled Auntie NoNos everything seasoning Into the crushed crackers … I got to much in there and was trying to get it out 🤦🏻♀️. The crackers tasted like Chicken in a biscuit crackers 🥰🥰🥰 just thought I’d share as it was a great surprise… so now I’ll be making something that resembles my fave crackers 🎉
Hey Mandy make sure you always have cillantro for taste and cookng buy fresh chop and freeze in a bag om for adding for taste but not for garnish.x
I made the quesadillas tonight for dinner, with some modifications. I used the chicken apple sausage (so good), added onion, green bell pepper, Rotel (the lime juice and cilantro), Corn and the Fiesta cheese. They were amazing! I have just enough leftover for an omelette for breakfast. Thanks for the inspiration 😊

Ive not had fish stew since we were stationed in Germany 15yrs ago. I thought it sounded horrible but our German friend strongly encouraged me to try it. Omgosh amazing but ive not found a comparable recipe. Thinking this is it! The pasta one at the end! Im missing the cheese or id for sure be making it this weekend. Going to watch again but with my notepad and pen. ( then transfer to a recipe card to go in my box!! Enjoy watching you and Stephen dancing had me giggling, plus the carbunkle ( sp)😂

I think…that the heat from the jalapeños comes from the membrane and then the seeds which are less hot.

Mandy,when i saw this recipe on Wednesday I knew I had to make it. It looked so delicious! We made it for dinner last night & it was absolutely fantastic ! All of the flavors were excellent & the chicken was so tender. We served it with mashed
potatoes which was a great choice & we put some of the sauce on the potatoes & it was so delicious! Thanks Mandy it was a great meal.
Yum. That quesadilla recipe is really similar to the one in the Hello fresh / every plate box and I love that theirs includes making a sauce mixing sour cream and lime juice and it really kicks it up even more.

I made the Fish chowder! Ermehgerd that was absolutely the best chowder ever!!
Andouille is smoked sausage, Cajun style. It is better than regular sausage. We use fresh ingredients and very few processed ingredients. Southern cooking is the best but Cajun is the best of the best, and it doesn't have to be hot and spicy. My husband is the Cajun cook. I cooked two gallons of food everyday for years for my six boys and one girl. Boys eat more than girls usually. I made lots of one pot meals with rice or noodles or potatoes to fill them up. LOL
I bet that cream sauce would be great on the stuffing breaded chicken you made in last episode. That may satisfy Steven's gravy request…

Made the creamy herb chicken tonight, it was delicious. Didn't have the soup so used shipping cream with a little bouillon, so good!

Bacon grease is liquid gold! My Southern(nc&ga) Mother taught me well! I taught my 3 Sons Mom's "tricks* of the trade & how to cook. All out did the teacher & all have a jar your size in the ice box as well! Their wives have all benefitted from their Hubbys excellent cooking skills! All my Grands as well

Been watching y’all for years but never left a comment. But y’all mentioned Moss Family, and I just have to say: between you and them, I have found so much encouragement (and good recipes!) in my daily work. I’m a full time homemaker, and even before either of y’all mentioned going to church or whatever, I could tell y’all were believers. I like watching you because you encourage me to labor cheerfully and joyfully for the Lord, even though making dinner isn’t always explicitly a Christian task 😂 the Lord lives cheerful givers, and y’all seem to give cheerfully, and it’s encouraging to see your obedience and how the Lord has blessed you.
